The evolution of a video conferencing technology, the cost reductions, the growing scale of communication solutions, and the savings in travel costs, are making Video Conferencing widely recognized for the contributing to profit margins, employee retention and increased productivity. As well, the wide availability and quality of the technology has made significant inroads into public administration, as demonstrated by judiciary systems which have adopted it for attendance and testimonies.
Using video to conduct interviews enables government and business managers to increase the pool of candidates outside the immediate geography, without incurring travel costs, thereby increasing the ability to hire the "right" candidate. Selecting the right candidate is critical to any organization's success and hiring the wrong applicant is a financial burden that leads to turnover, more hiring, training and overall, more costs.
Government and Business leaders see improvements in productivity as diverse teams are able to work together in a more collaborative environment using integrated video/data/voice communications. Using the available technologies, training sessions are delivered more frequently, improving performance and driving increases in productivity across all departments.
Supporting the movement of capital and labor across the borders and the increasing momentum of the social globalization, Video Conferencing is giving a wide range of options, serving different markets: International Trading, International migration, and global workforce and outsourcing, just to mention a few.... Business needs are changing and so does the technology that supports them: IT users are moving from ISDN based solutions to IP implementations that are more affordable and more applicable to their respective missions.
